Mentorship and Fly Fishing for the Next Generation

Empowering Coulee Region youth to embark on their next adventure.

When you book a fly fishing guide, you’re not just catching fish. You’re empowering your child with lessons and values that will support them through the course of their lives. At Coulee Kingfisher, we guide youth aged 8+ through transformative fly fishing experiences in the Coulee Region. With mentorship at heart, every trip builds confidence, fosters stewardship, and brings kids closer to nature.

With busy lives, many kids are missing out on the natural wonders of the Driftless. Coulee Kingfisher Guide Service exists to open the outdoors to youth who might not otherwise get the chance. Fly fishing is a simple, powerful way to build reverence for nature— and confidence in themselves. Watching a kid light up as they hook their first fish is pure joy. Guiding them to that moment is what I love most.
